You didn’t come this far to stop, keep moving!
My name is Adam Rubin, and for the past 24 years I have had the privilege of teaching at my alma mater, a private university in New England. My work spans the General Education curriculum, Entrepreneurship, Management, and the MBA program. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals reach their fullest potential while guiding them through a process of self-discovery.
When I teach, my goal is to create a supportive and comfortable environment where people feel confident asking questions, secure enough to make mistakes, and safe while being challenged to grow. I often share my teaching philosophy with them because it’s simple and true: When you laugh, you pay attention. When you pay attention, you learn. And what you truly learn, you retain.
Much of my teaching is with developing minds who are navigating the dual transition into college life and adulthood. Over the years, I have seen how difficult it can be for students to find a path that honors their individuality while maintaining their sense of identity. Many struggle with questions, such as what to study, how to fit in, what will faculty expect of them, and how to navigate challenges such as being LGBTQ+, managing learning or executive function differences, being a first-generation college student, finding a healthy work–life balance, and so much more. In my nearly quarter-century as an educator, I have witnessed these struggles time and again.
It is precisely because of these experiences that I created this company—to leverage what I’ve learned and serve as a beacon to help others towards a path that is right for them.
In addition to teaching, I have served as an advisor to several student-run organizations, including the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, ENACTUS/SIFE, Delta Chi Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi Professional Fraternity, and the Ventures Business Incubator.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures. I’m a Kripalu certified Yoga Instructor and I am also passionate about theatre, fishing, golfing, and cars.
Now that you know a bit more about me, I’d love to learn more about you—and the challenges you’re facing as you move toward success to discover the path that's right for you.
